"...and faithful instruction is on her tongue."

Verse 26 of Proverbs 31 talks about how the Wife of Noble Character is able to advise those around her, imparting wisdom and faithful instructions. What an honor to be counted on by those around you to be able to give sound biblical advice; not for our own glory but to give testimony to how God is at work in our lives. I'm so thankful for the women in my life who I've received wisdom and instruction from.

I want to fill my heart with Truth to speak into my husband and children, Truth to encourage friends and Truth to anchor my own soul when my faith and feelings are like shifting sands.

The Bible is the ultimate source of Truth. Every other word of man should be read through the lenses of scripture to ensure its accuracy. But there is much to be gained by others that have shared their testimonies and life experiences. What an incredible way to learn from others!

I also enjoy fiction and this last year I started a book club in my neighborhood to get to know my neighbors better! Most of my book club books are secular and not always chosen by me, but I am enjoying getting to know other authors.
