Yesterday I was cleaning up some things on the homepage of this blog of mine and ran across this post about Reaghan being sweet towards Piper after our pup had surgery to remove a mass on her gums. In the post I mentioned that the mass was being sent off for a biopsy to see if it was cancerous or not and I realized I never updated you on her results.
Our new home has beautiful high ceilings. Mark and I both love them because they make the rooms in our home feel more spacious and open but they are a challenge for my already limited decorating abilities. I forgot to take a before picture of our mantle but I basically just had a canvas from our old home laying up against the wall (not even hung up) and some picture frames up there. The wall seemed so big over the mantle that I was really taking my time trying to decide what I wanted up there.
Its been a long, hot, humid summer! We didnt have anything big planned for the summer but its still felt like a busy few months. Heres a recap of summer 2016!
I basically took an unintentional sabbatical from blogging this summer. The last time I wrote was the end of May and even that was just a recap of Mothers Day and our Anniversary because we had been so busy with moving! When I wrote that update we were actually on vacation in the OBX with Mark's family and I had every intention of writing a nice post about our new house when we got home, but while we were on vacation we found out some pretty exciting news! If you're friends with me on facebook then you've known for a while, but I have to make an announcement on here too right?!
